Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

At Narayan Pratap Singh Smriti Mahavidyalaya, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) has been constituted as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee aims to ensure a safe, secure, and gender-sensitive environment for all staff and students, especially women.

Objectives of the ICC:

• Prevent and address complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace or educational institution.
• Promote gender equality and awareness about women’s rights and workplace dignity.
• Provide a platform for grievances and complaints related to sexual harassment.
• Ensure timely and impartial redressal of complaints while maintaining confidentiality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Receive complaints on sexual harassment and conduct fair inquiries.
• Recommend appropriate actions based on inquiry outcomes.
• Organize sensitization, awareness, and capacity-building programs on gender-based issues.
• Submit annual reports to the competent authority.

How to Contact the ICC:

Any aggrieved student or staff member can approach any of the committee members directly, either in person or through phone/email. All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality and empathy.

Note: The ICC guarantees complete confidentiality and a fair hearing for all complaints. Everyone is encouraged to come forward and help foster a respectful and secure campus atmosphere.
