Anti-Ragging Committee
At Narayan Pratap Singh Smriti Mahavidyalaya, we are dedicated to maintaining a ragging-free, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students. In line with the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations and the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted to prevent and address any incidents of ragging on campus.
Objectives of the Committee:
- Ensure a campus environment free from any form of ragging or harassment.
- Educate students about the legal and institutional consequences of ragging.
- Act promptly and fairly on complaints and reports of ragging.
- Foster mutual respect, support, and cooperation among students.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor student behavior and ensure vigilance against ragging incidents.
- Conduct regular awareness drives and orientation programs on anti-ragging.
- Investigate and resolve complaints in a fair and timely manner.
- Report serious incidents to higher authorities or law enforcement as required.
How to Report Ragging:
If you experience or witness any form of ragging, you can report it confidentially to any of the committee members listed below. You may contact them in person, by phone, or via email. The identity of the complainant will be protected.
